Who can join?

 

Anyone employed by the NHS (or NHS contractor) within Scotland and North England (North East, North West and Yorkshire & Humberside) can apply for membership of the credit union.  In addition, family members who live in the same household as an active member can also apply for membership.

 

Payments are either made by payroll deduction for those where facilities are available or by standing order.  A comprehensive project to roll out payroll deduction to all other NHS areas is currently underway and members will be kept informed of when this service becomes available to them.
